Annual Fiesta :’YuvaNova’: A Spectacular Cultural Extravaganza

Yuvashakti Model School, Rohini, celebrated its grand Annual Fiesta ‘YuvaNova’, on 17th January 2026 within the school premises, bringing together students, parents, staff, and a distinguished gathering of eminent guests. The vibrant event stood as a perfect blend of culture, entertainment, and festivity, leaving lasting impressions on all present.

The occasion was graced by several dignitaries, including Mr. Shambhu Sharma (Trustee, YMS), Mr. Sunil Sharma (Secretary, Y.M.S.), Mr. Anil Sharma (Executive Member, Y.M.S.), Mr. Kartik Sharma (M.D., Y.M.S.), Ms. Priyanka Sharma (M.D., Yuvashakti enfants Jardin), Ms. Mamta Sharma, Ms. Bhavya Sharma, Ms. Srishti Sharma (Members of Management), Mr. Harinder Kumar (Director, Y.M.S.), and Mr. Tagore Babry.

The festivities commenced with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting by Mr. Sunil Sharma, Secretary, Y.M.S., followed by a graceful welcome by the school’s girl bagpiper band, Armonia. The traditional lamp lighting ceremony and an auspicious Ganesh Vandana set a serene and spiritual tone for the event. The school band ‘Panache’ enthralled the audience with an energetic and captivating musical performance.

A special attraction of the fiesta was a vibrant fashion show in which parents and their children confidently walked the ramp together, symbolizing bonding, confidence, and family participation, and earning loud applause from the audience.

One of the most awaited moments of the fiesta was the lucky draw, which added excitement as winners received attractive prizes such as Comfortors and Juicer mixer grinders, OTG, Air fryer etc. The celebration also featured Drawing competition, thrilling amusement rides, mesmerising and colourful dance performances and and a special performance by the famous band – Laksh that kept the audience engaged throughout.

The food court, offering a wide variety of delicious delicacies, emerged as a major attraction and delighted visitors of all age groups. The event was generously sponsored by SK Enterprises, Physics Wallah, Codex Education, and Zap Infosis.

In her note of appreciation, HOS Ms. Divya Vats, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the esteemed guests and applauded the sincere efforts of the students and staff. She emphasized the importance of such events in nurturing creativity, unity, and a strong sense of community.

The celebration drew to a close on a joyous and fulfilling note, leaving behind cherished memories for all.
