The celebration started with the unfurling of the tricolour National Flag by the honourable Chief Guest, Shri Vijay Sharma (Chairman, YMS), Shri Sunil Sharma (Secretary, YMS), Shri Kartik Sharma, and other prestigious guests. This was followed by the singing of the National Anthem by everyone present. The NCC Cadets, Scouts, and Guides thereby gave a patriotic salutation to the Flag.
The Chief Guest released the tricoloured balloons in the sky to spread the message of peace and freedom. He also presented a fascinating speech to the students about the freedom struggleof India and the importance of living by those ideals. Ecstatic dance performances were presented on patriotic songs, and later, a patriotic song was sung by a choir group. Thereafter, the thrilling performance of Nukkad Natak was presented by our wonderful young artists. All in all, the students left no stones unturned to make the celebration memorable.
Our Chief Guest congratulated all the prize winners for their success by awarding them with a trophy. A heart touching speech was delivered by Shri Sunil Sharma Sir (Secretary, YMS). The joyous celebration of Independence Day ended with a vote of thanks.
