78TH INDEPENDENCE DAY

Yuvashakti Model School, Rohini, celebrated the 78th Independence Day on 14th August 2024 with immense fervor and pride. The entire school was imbued with a sense of patriotism, beautifully decorated in the colours of the national flag. The event was honoured by the presence of distinguished guests, including Mr. Zoltan Virag from the University of British Columbia, Mr. Vijay Sharma( Chairman,YMS), Mr. Shambhu Sharma (Trustee, YMS), Mr. Anil Sharma( Member of Management ),Mr.Sunil Sharma ( Secretary, YMS), Mr. Kartik Sharma (Managing Director, YMS), Mr. Harinder Kumar ( Director, YMS ), Mr. Tagore Babri and Ms. Divya Vats( Offg Principal,YMS) .The ceremony commenced with the unfurling of the national flag by Chairman Sir, followed by the reverberating tones of the National Anthem, and a salute from the NCC Cadets. The highlight of the morning was the school band’s bagpipers, whose exhilarating performance captivated everyone present. Their powerful and melodious tunes echoed through the grounds, instilling a deep sense of national pride and leaving the audience spellbound. The subsequent release of tricolored balloons symbolized peace and freedom, soaring high into the sky. Offg. Principal Ms. Divya Vats then delivered an inspiring speech, setting the tone for the cultural programs that followed, including group songs, speeches, patriotic dances, and a Nukkad Natak .The event concluded with an Award Ceremony celebrating student excellence, followed by an inspiring Chairman’s address on perseverance, ethical leadership, and embracing challenges. His motivational words deeply impacted the audience, and the event closed with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Ms. Swati Chandok.
