INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS

“True stories of valour are not forgotten, they stay immortal in our hearts and in the pages of history.”

On 14th August 2025, Yuvashakti Model School organised a grand celebration to mark 79 glorious years of India’s independence. The programme began with the flag hoisting by reverent Mr. Vijay Sharma (Chairman,YMS), Mr. Shambhu Sharma(Trustee, MS), Mr. Anil Sharma (Member of Management), Mr.Sunil Sharma (Secretary,YMS), Mr.Kartik Sharma ( Managing Director, YMS), Mr. Tagore Babry, Mr. Harinder Kumar (Director ,YMS) Ms. Divya Vats (HOS,YMS) along with other esteemed guests.

The NCC cadets of the school gave a resounding salute to honourable Chairman showcasing their discipline and patriotism, followed by the release of tricolour balloons, embodying India’s soaring heights. The girls’ bagpiper band, Armonia, presented their talent very well, adding to the festive atmosphere. The event also featured an instrumental performance by the school band, Panache, which consisted of a medley of patriotic songs. Mr. Shambhu Sharma, revered Trustee of the school, eloquently addressed the gathering, imparting his blessings upon the students by urging them to become responsible citizens by contributing to the nation’s growth and development. He also emphasized the importance of unity, integrity, and national pride, saying that these values are the foundation of a strong and prosperous India. The highlight of the event was a spectacular cultural programme, featuring a soul-stirring song that echoed through the premises, a thought-provoking skit on great heroes like Tanaji Malusare, who bravely conquered the Kondana fort, Jhalkari Bai of Jhansi, Ashfaqullah Khan, and Ram Prasad Bismil, and a dance performance where students presented energetic and emotive movements that celebrated the spirit of patriotism and national pride.

Our respected HOS, Ms. Divya Vats shared her inspirational words, encouraging students to harness their potential and keep the flame of patriotism alive. She emphasized that the youth, particularly the students, are the driving force of the country, and that we should give to the nation all that we have and the best we can. The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, encouraging meritorious students to strive for excellence, followed by a vote of thanks proposed to express gratitude to all participants and organisers.
