Mock Drill

In alignment with Government directives, Yuvashakti Model School conducted a comprehensive Mock Drill today to enhance emergency preparedness among students and staff. Students practiced the “Drop, Cover, and Hold” technique and quickly assembled in designated open areas, demonstrating commendable discipline and presence of mind. The drill aimed to instill life-saving reflexes and efficient crisis response skills. A special session on CPR and First Aid was also organized, equipping students with essential, practical knowledge that could prove critical in real-life emergencies. The activity emphasized that drills are not merely routine protocols but a vital commitment to safety, readiness, and protection. We are immensely proud of our young learners for participating with such enthusiasm, seriousness, and responsibility, reflecting their growing awareness and preparedness for unforeseen situations.

“Life Work Balance” Workshop for Teachers

On 3rd May 2025, Yuvashakti Model School organized an insightful workshop on “Life Work Balance” for its teachers. The session was conducted by Ms. Tanya Saini, who skillfully engaged the participants through activities and thoughtful discussions. She emphasized the importance of maintaining a healthy balance between professional responsibilities and personal well-being. Teachers actively participated, sharing their experiences and learning valuable strategies to manage stress and enhance productivity. Labour Day

Yuvashakti Model School celebrated Labour Day on May 1st, 2025, with a heartfelt assembly dedicated to honoring the hard work and commitment of its sub staff. The celebration commenced with a thought-provoking message that set a tone of gratitude and appreciation. Students presented inspiring poems, moving speeches, and an engaging skit, all highlighting the invaluable role played by the sub staff in the smooth functioning of the school. Principal Ma’am acknowledged and praised their unwavering dedication and efforts. To further express their gratitude, students distributed chocolates among the sub staff, bringing smiles to their faces. The event served as a beautiful reminder of the importance of respect and recognition for every member of the school community, fostering a spirit of unity and appreciation.

Road Safety Awareness Workshop

A Road Safety Awareness Workshop was convened today at Yuvashakti Model School, Rohini, in collaboration with the Delhi Traffic Police. The session was led by Sub-Inspector Mr. Manoj Kumar and Mr. Kulvinder Sharma, who illuminated the students on various critical facets of road safety.
The workshop aimed to cultivate awareness regarding the escalating incidence of road accidents, the underlying causes of such incidents, the paramount importance of wearing helmets, and the proper techniques for crossing roads. The speakers recounted real-life scenarios and imparted practical advice to instill responsible behavior among young pedestrians and prospective drivers.

On 26th April 2025, Yuvashakti Model School conducted a Parent Orientation Programme for new admissions from Classes II to XII. The event commenced with a warm welcome to parents, followed by an introduction to the school’s vision, mission, and core values. Key members of the management and faculty highlighted the academic structure, co-curricular activities, assessment patterns, and support systems available for students. Parents were familiarized with school policies, communication channels, and the role of collaborative efforts in a child’s holistic development. Interactive sessions addressed queries and built a strong foundation for partnership between parents and school. Yuvashakti Model School organized a Constitution Day activity on April 25, 2025, featuring a vibrant Rangoli Making competition. Students participated with great enthusiasm, showcasing their creativity and teamwork. The theme revolved around India’s freedom struggle, aiming to honor the sacrifices of freedom fighters through artistic expression. The colorful rangolis beautifully depicted key moments and icons from the independence movement, fostering a deeper appreciation for India’s rich history. Earth Day Celebration

Yuvashakti Model School organized a Poster Making Activity for classes II to VIII to mark the occasion of Earth Day. The event aimed to foster environmental awareness and encourage students to reflect on their role in protecting the planet. Commencement of  New Session – ‘Special Assembly’

On April 2, 2025, Yuvashakti Model School hosted a special assembly to mark the beginning of the new academic session. Head of School, Ms. Divya Vats, warmly welcomed the students, expressing her excitement and encouragement for their journey ahead. Following the assembly, the school marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of air conditioning systems in its middle wing classrooms, reinforcing its commitment to fostering an optimal learning environment. Esteemed dignitaries, including Mr. Kartik Sharma (Managing Director, YMS), Mr. Harinder Kumar (Director, YMS), Ms. Priyanka Sharma (Managing Director, Enfant Jardin), and Ms. Divya Vats (Head of School, YMS), graced the event, emphasizing the school’s unwavering dedication to student welfare and infrastructural advancement.

ANTI DRUG ABUSE SESSION

On April 2, 2025, Yuvashakti Model School conducted a special assembly to raise awareness about drug abuse. Mr. Tapish Nagpal addressed the students, highlighting the severe consequences of substance abuse and the importance of making responsible choices. His session provided valuable insights into the dangers of addiction and strategies to resist peer pressure. On 3rd May 2025, Yuvashakti Model School celebrated the birthdays of its esteemed teachers whose birthdays fall in the month of April with great enthusiasm.Head of School Ms. Divya Vats warmly welcomed the gathering and extended special wishes to Managing Director Mr. Kartik Sharma, appreciating his exceptional leadership and unwavering vision. Wing Coordinators also conveyed heartfelt greetings to their respective staff members. The auditorium, beautifully adorned with vibrant decorations, echoed with joy as the birthday honorees cut the cake amidst loud applause and cheer. Fun-filled games and prize distributions added to the lively atmosphere, with teachers participating enthusiastically. The celebration concluded with a delightful lunch, making it a memorable day of appreciation, bonding, and happiness for all, strengthening the spirit of unity within the school community.

INDUCTION PROGRAM

To mark the vibrant commencement of the academic session 2025-26, Yuvashakti Model School organized a comprehensive Teachers’ Induction Programme on 1st April 2025 in the school auditorium. Honourable Head of School, Ms. Divya Vats, extended a warm and gracious welcome to the newly appointed faculty. Mr. Ashok Kumar (HOD, Physical Education) eloquently recounted the institution’s 38-year journey of excellence, highlighting the visionary ideals and philanthropic legacy of Late Shri M.L. Sharma Ji, the revered founder, while introducing the distinguished school management.

Mr. Vineet Vats (Senior Coordinator) led an insightful 360-degree tour, familiarizing teachers with the state-of-the-art infrastructure and extensive academic resources. Ms. Aarti Aggarwal (Primary Wing Coordinator) outlined the Code of Conduct, followed by Ms. Shagun (Enfants Jardin Coordinator), who provided expert guidance on effective classroom management. The Principal concluded by showcasing the scholastic, athletic, and cultural milestones of the past academic year at zonal , district & national level and applauded for the team for their valuable contributions. Additionally, she unveiled a strategic roadmap for the forthcoming session. The programme empowered educators, equipping them to excel professionally and uphold the school’s tradition of brilliance and innovation.

 

ASSEMBLIES

On 15th April 2025, the students presented a thoughtful assembly on the theme “Embrace Changes Gracefully.” The program began with a speech emphasizing how change fosters growth, followed by a heartfelt poem capturing the emotions of adapting. The news segment highlighted real-world examples of positive change, while a short drama depicted students navigating school adjustments with resilience and support. The class teacher concluded the assembly by motivating students to accept change with strength and grace. The impactful message, “School may shift and things might bend, but grace and growth will always blend,” resonated deeply with all.

 

Karmayoga Club

*Karmayoga Club’s Enlightening Visit to Shri Hari Govind Chikitsalaya Aur Gaushala*
On 21st December 2024, 16 spirited members of the Karmayoga Club from Yuvashakti Model School, Sector-3, Rohini, undertook an inspiring visit to Shri Hari Govind Chikitsalaya Aur Gaushala, Sector-11, Rohini, accompanied by their teacher. The visit proved to be a transformative experience for the students, offering them a firsthand glimpse into the tireless efforts of the organization in providing medical care for animals and fostering a culture of compassion and empathy towards all living beings. During their visit, the students engaged with the dedicated staff and volunteers, gaining insights into the significance of animal welfare and their own potential role in contributing to it. They also cherished the opportunity to bond with the animals, feeding and caring for them, while embracing the profound values of kindness and responsibility. This experience enriched our students’ social and emotional learning, reinforcing the importance of altruism, community engagement, and environmental stewardship. We take immense pride in their commitment to making a positive difference and actively participating in such a meaningful endeavor. On 21st December 2024, YuvaShakti Model School commemorated World Meditation Day with an enlightening session aimed at instilling mindfulness and nurturing mental well-being among students. The session introduced transformative meditation techniques designed to reduce stress, enhance concentration, and foster emotional resilience. A dynamic and interactive approach captivated the students, allowing them to experience the profound serenity and rejuvenation that mindfulness brings. Teachers actively motivated students to incorporate meditation into their daily routines, emphasizing its pivotal role in fostering holistic growth. The session concluded with students reflecting on their newfound sense of calm and clarity, sharing their transformative experiences. This event marked a meaningful stride toward cultivating a culture of mindfulness and well-being within the school community.

 

ECO-CLUB VAN MAHOTSAV 2023

VAN MAHOTSAV CELEBRATION

“Trees are poems that the earth writes upon the sky.”

This year students of Yuvashakti Enfants Jardin got an opportunity to visit garden on 7th July, 2023 to celebrate Van Mahotsav. Amidst the serene greenery, they took care of the plants by watering them. In addition, they had fun playing ball games together, which made them even happier in the peaceful atmosphere. Tinytots also pledged to nurture plants with love, care, and watch them grow into majestic symbols of life and hope. It was a personal connect between the students and trees through a process of experience, reflection and creation. They showed great eagerness in contributing in making the environment green.

PHYSICS WORKSHOP

The most important thing in Physics is to never stop questioning. To explore new concepts and to increase students engagement, a Physics Workshop was held at Birla Niketan on Tuesday, 11 July,2023. Yuvashakti Model School Class X students Atharv, Disha , Daivik & Mukhlisa along with Science teachers Ms. Neha Butola and Ms. Haripriya attended the workshop conducted by Ms. Pragya Nopany of Anveshika, Delhi.Ms. Pragya Nopany of Birla Vidya Niketan, Delhi has taught Physics to thousands of students. She has also participated actively in developing national level curriculum and in developing teacher training programmes. She explained how complex concepts like optics, can be taught with innovative activities.The theme of workshop was “Riding alongside a light beam”. The workshop was all about experimental Physics, where topics like Tyndall effects, Scattering, Reflection and Refraction of light was included. Numerous experiments were demonstrated in order to make the workshop engaging. Teachers and students from various school actively participated in activities conducted by Ms. Pragya ma’am. The workshop was highly motivating to develop critical and scientific temperament among students apart from conventional learning.

On the occasion of 23rd Death Anniversary of Late Pt. Madan Lal Sharma, Ex-President of Akhil Bhartiya Brahmin Maha Sabha, The Founder of Brahm Shakti Trust and Yuvashakti Model School, Sector -3, Rohini.

Yuvashakti Model School organised Bhajan Varsha on 27th July 2023 at YMS, Rohini.  The programme started with the lighting of the lamp by Honourable Sh. Ramesh Kumar (Former M.P.),  Mr. Surinder (Former M.L.A.), Mr. Jai Kishan (Former MLA),  Mr. Jag Parvesh, Mr. Jayender,  Mr. Manish  Chaudhary,  Mr. Surinder Solanki, Mr.S.K.Saluja,  Mr. Vijay Sharma (Chairman, YMS), Mr. Shambhu Sharma (Former Councillor & Trustee YMS Rohini), Mr. Anil Sharma ( Executive Member, YMS), Mr. Sunil Sharma (Secretary, YMS), Mr. Mohit Sharma (Managing Director,  Shakti Resort, Behror) Mr. Kartik Sharma (Managing Director,YMS), members of Sharma family , YMS family and other dignitaries paid homage to Shri Madan Lal Sharma ji. Followers from all walks of life and from around the corner gathered in front of  the portrait of Shri Madan Lal Sharma and offered flowers to the pious soul. He will always be remembered for his ideals. He was a man endowed with high moral values.

He dedicated his whole life to the service of the mankind. Even time, the greatest healer has failed to fill the void created by his sudden and untimely death.

Bhajan and devotional songs were presented by the students and teachers of the school and famous singers.

Mr. Shambhu Sharma (Former Councillor and Trustee, YMS Rohini ) thanked everyone present and said that they would continue to cherish his ideals and always try to follow the path shown by him. The programme ended with ‘Shradha Bhoj’.

GRANDPARENTS’  DAY CELEBRATION

 “Grandparents are a little bit parents, a little bit teachers and a little bit best friends.”

On September 2nd, 2023, our school campus was filled with love and laughter as we celebrated the beautiful bond between generations during our Grandparents’ Day event. The event aimed to emphasize grandparents’ significance in children’s lives, fostering respect and admiration.

Our esteemed Managing Director Sir, honorable Director Sir, respected Principal Sir ,Vice Principal Ma’am, and all the attendees were present at the event, making it a truly remarkable gathering.

From the heartwarming performances by our youngest stars to the soulful dances presented by Grade 1 students, every moment was a testament to the love, wisdom, and joy that grandparents bring into our lives. Every performance of them won the hearts of all present on the occasion.The event was well planned by the Pre Primary Incharge,  along with the Team of teachers designated for the planning of this special day.

The love and warmth extended to our grandparents continued with a refreshing touch, as the school organized a delightful spread of refreshments. It was a day of making memories, cherishing relationships, and celebrating the legacy of love passed down through generations.

On September 6th, 2023, Yuvashakti Enfants Jardin celebrated Janmashtami with great enthusiasm and devotion. The day witnessed a delightful confluence of devotion and festivity.

Young learners, brimming with reverence, bestowed their heartfelt blessings upon Lord Krishna, adorning the deity with a gracefully swaying jhula. The luminaries of the institution, Director Sir and Vice-Principal Ma’am, graced the occasion with their dignified presence, elevating the atmosphere to one of unparalleled grace and solemnity.

An offering of sweet Mishri bhog was lovingly presented to Lord Krishna, symbolizing the devotion and love of the Yuvashakti Enfants Jardin family.

The resonance of devotion echoed through the premises as both teachers and students came together to recite soul-stirring Bhajans, invoking the divine presence of Lord Krishna with the enchanting chants of “Hare Rama Hare Krishna.” This sacred session transcended the boundaries of mere celebration, fostering a deep spiritual connection within the hearts of all who gathered.

In essence, the Janmashtami celebration at Yuvashakti enfants jardin was a harmonious blend of devotion, tradition, and grace, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts and souls of all who partook in this divine commemoration.

‘Great teachers aspire’. True to these words , Yuvashakti Model School celebrated Teacher’s Day on September 5th, 2023 to pay tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan who was a staunch believer of education. The day was celebrated with great spirit of love, care and respect towards teachers. The event commenced with an enthusiastic assembly followed by an inspirational speech by honourable Principal sir, Mr. Lalit Vikram Sheetal, delivered an inspiring message, emphasizing the pivotal role that teachers play as torchbearers for the next generation.

The senior students were assigned with the teaching responsibility for the day by  Principal sir. Tina Phogat, the head girl and Keshav, the head boy performed the role of student Principal and student Vice Principal with utmost sincerity .

To infuse some light-hearted fun, classic games like Tambola and Musical Chairs were organized for teachers , demonstrating the harmonious blend of learning and joy. The day ended with sumptuous lunch.

TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAM

Workshop on “Exploring Stress Management Techniques for Teachers”

With a strong determination to address the challenges confronted by educators and empower them with effective stress-manage ment techniques, Yuvashakti Model School orchestrated an insightful workshop titled “Exploring Stress Management Techniques for Teachers” on August 31, 2023. The event was well organized by PGT Psychology & Counsellor, Ms Kashish Banga which aimed to provide teachers with a holistic approach to self-care.Teachers wholeheartedly embraced mindfulness, meditation, and grounding exercises, fostering resilience and staying anchored in the present moment. Participants concluded the workshop armed with practical tools to uplift their well-being and amplify their teaching prowess. The ripples of the workshop’s impact are poised to resonate in classrooms, nurturing both teachers and students alike.

HINDI DIWAS

हिंदी दिवस- 2023

विविधताओं से भरे इस देश में लगी भाषाओं की फुलवारी है, इनमें हमको सबसे प्यारी हिंदी मातृभाषा हमारी है।

युवाशक्ति मॉडल स्कूल के विशाल सभागार  में बृहस्पतिवार, 14 सितम्बर 2023 को हिन्दी दिवस हर्षोल्लास के साथ मनाया गया। इस अवसर पर प्रबंध निदेशक श्री कार्तिक शर्मा विद्यालय निदेशक श्री हरिन्द्र कुमार,  प्रधानाचार्य श्री ललित विक्रम शीतल एवं उपप्रधानाचार्या श्रीमती दिव्या वत्स तथा माध्यमिक  विभागाध्यक्ष विनीत वत्स के द्वारा  सर्वप्रथम माँ सरस्वती के सम्मुख दीप प्रज्वलन कर कार्यक्रम का शुभारम्भ किया गया। इस अवसर पर छात्रों द्वारा सरस्वती वंदना, भाषण, काव्य-पाठ, भाषा – गीत, आदि सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम प्रस्तुत किए गए।

 विद्यालय के प्रधानाचार्य श्री ललित विक्रम शीतल जी ने हिंदी दिवस के अवसर पर अपने विचार व्यक्त करते हुए हिंदी भाषा के तथ्यों से अवगत कराया तथा अपनी मातृभाषा का सम्मान करने का संदेश दिया। । पूर्व प्राथमिक कक्षा के विद्यार्थियों ने हिंदी भाषा के महत्त्वपूर्ण तथ्य बताए । आठवीं कक्षा की छात्रा भव्या और वैभव ने कार्यक्रम का  मंचसंचालन सफलतापूर्वक किया। प्रधानाचार्य एवं उपप्रधानाचार्या के दिशा – निर्देशन में कार्यक्रम हर्षोल्लास के साथ सम्पन्न हुआ।

ACTIVE BRAIN CLUB

The “Active Brains Club” at YMS, Rohini, is a comprehensive educational initiative for nurturing the intellectual growth of students. The club conducts 25 sessions over the course of a year, offering a diverse range of activities. It provides students  with

  hands-on practical sessions and workshops led by qualified faculty members. Its unique feature is the provision of Robotics Kits, Electronic Kits, and various other resources, enabling students to explore deeper into STEM subjects and develop their problem-solving abilities. The Active Brains Club serves as a valuable platform for holistic learning for a successful academic journey and future career prospects.

Magic Show on December 6th, 2023

Science serves to enhance students’ comprehensive comprehension of the workings and rationale of things, imparting knowledge about their environment. Bearing this in mind, Yuvashakti Model School orchestrated a stunning Magic Show on December 6th, 2023 for pupils in classes VI-VIII. The presence of distinguished mentors such as the Director Sir, Principal Sir, Vice-Principal Ma’am, Middle Wing Incharge and Enfants Jardin Incharge lent an air of significance to the occasion. As budding enthusiasts transformed into magicians and scientists alike, they showcased an array of mesmerizing tricks while uncovering the scientific underpinnings behind each one. From demonstrating magnetism’s principles through levitation to elucidating color change chemistry during driving demonstrations -the auditorium became a hub for fascination and enlightenment. Students effortlessly fused entertainment with education by sparking curiosity and deepening their understanding of science’s world.

Principal Sir’s inspirational words highlighted how combining magic with science unveils natural wonders while encouraging students to keep exploring and questioning everything around them. The event served as a testament to how coupling magic with science becomes a gateway towards unraveling mysteries within our natural world.”
