The event was organised for the senior wing of the school. All the students participated enthusiastically, showcasing their creativity using various hues and colours. The aim was to explore the remarkable talents of the budding artists of our institution. They were judged on the basis of the presentation and theme of their collages. The participants were judged by Ms Madhu Rani, and Ms. Harshita, the beloved and respected Drawing Teachers of the School.

“Poem Recitation is a mode of expression, a medium to reflect the latent talent of the young ones.”
A poetry recitation competition was organised for the students of class IX-X in the school auditorium. Poetry is a rhythmical creation of beauty in words, and the beauty of this art form was once again highlighted to us by our students. Children from each house recited poems with proper pronunciation and intonation. The young talents of our school enthusiastically participated in the competition and exhibited their talent and confidence in this arena.
The Judges of the competition were Ms Swati Chandok (English Teacher) and Ms Neelam Goel (Hindi Teacher).

An Inter-House Art Competition was organised for the middle wing of the school. It was aimed at displaying the amazing talents of the budding artists of our school. The competition was divided into three categories:
Class VI – Show Piece Making
Class VII- Wall Hanging Making
Class VIII – Mask Making
The participants displayed their creativity in all three categories using vibrant materials and beautiful ideas. Principal Mr Harinder Kumar appreciated the participants for their creative talents and commendable efforts.
The competition was judged by Mr Anoop Shrivastav, Ms Madhu Rani and Ms Harshita Tanwar.

Many consolation prizes were given to appreciate the budding talent.
The Inter-House Poem Recitation Competition of the Middle Wing of YMS was conducted in the school premises itself and witnessed the recitation talent of the young buds of the school. The students of three different houses, i.e., Ganga, Yamuna, and Satluj, displayed their skills and stage confidence in the competition.
Two participants from each house recited poems in English and Hindi. Women Power, Gender Discrimination, Nature, and many more were the themes of the day. It’s truly commendable how the children brought out the beauty of feelings, thoughts, and expressions through their recitation skills.
The competition was judged by worthy judges, Ms Rajshree Singh and Mr V.B. Shastri. Honourable Principal, Mr Harinder Kumar, admired and lauded the efforts made by the students.

The school organised a non-fire cooking competition for the primary classes II to V. Students from all the houses participated with great enthusiasm and zeal and prepared delicious salty and sweet dishes to the best of their abilities. The judges were School Principal Mr Harinder Kumar and Headmaster Mr Lalit Vikram Sheetal, who unequivocally praised the students for their hard work and dedication.Ms Neena Bhardwaj, In-charge Primary Wing, also boosted the morale of the students.

The primary wing classes II to V were shown an animated 3D movie, “Chhota Bheem – Kungfu Dhamaka.” The students were thrilled to experience the 3D effects. They were served refreshments during the intermission. It was afun-filled day,and students enjoyed the movie time thoroughly. A group photograph of the students was taken along with the In-charge of the primary wing, Ms Neena Bhardwaj, and their class teachers to cherish the memorable moments.
A fancy dress competition was organised for classes II and III in the school auditorium. Participants practised under the guidance of the house in-charges and associates and gave their best. It was delightful to see the kids dressed up in all kinds of themes to portray different characters. We had someone dressed as our honourable Prime Minister, while someone else dressed up as an old citizen. Some students even chose unique fancy dress themes like junk food! All the students performed brilliantly and with great enthusiasm.
The competition was judged by Ms Aarti and Ms Swati, who whole-heartedly praised the students for their power-packed performance. The winners of the competition were announced at the end in the presence of the Principal Sir. A group photograph of all the participants, judges, and teachers was taken at the end of this fun-filled programme.
